*A shocker last night on American Idol--Chris Sligh was voted off! He was one of the favorites early in the season. Chris is gone and Sanjaya (pictured left) survived another week! It was hysterical when Ryan Seacrest came out in the beginning of the show wearing a Sanjaya mohawk wig (not a good look!)

*Britney Spears should have a hospital wing named after her because she went back to the hospital yesterday for a dental problem. If you remember, Britney went to the E.R. Sunday for a bad toothache. Brit, how about making a dentist appointment???

*Angelina Jolie's $100 million kidnap threat - A report says Angelina Jolie and newly adopted son Pax escaped a plot by kidnappers to snatch the boy upon his arrival to the U.S. and to demand $100 million for his return. Luckily, the plot was foiled. But just in case, Brad Pitt had a $500,000 security system installed in their home in New Orleans.

DIAN'E'S CELEBRITY DIRT - WED., MARCH 28

*Supermodel Paulina Porizkova was the first contestant to get the boot on this season of Dancing With The Stars. She said her fan base is her family and that didn't give her enough votes to stay. By the way, was that a baby bump on co-host Samantha Harris?

*Gwen Stefani appeared as a mentor on last night's American Idol. Even Gwen was fed up with Sanjaya. I couldn't believe his hairdo! Seacrest called it a ponyhawk--7 little ponytails tied up into a big mohawk. I do have to give the kid credit for standing out. I can't even remember the name of some of the other contestants. We'll find out tonight if Sanjaya survives another week on the results show and Gwen will perform The Sweet Escape.

*Britney Spears lost something in rehab--10 pounds! Maybe it was all of the spa treatments she had (yes, spa treatments in rehab!)

*The Nicole Kidman pregnancy watch is on (again!) Sources say Nicole is pregnant but we have heard that before so I'll let you know when I get further information

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - TUESDAY, MARCH 27

*Anna Nicole Smith's cause of death was revealed yesterday. She died of an accidental prescription drug overdose. Anna Nicole had 9 prescription medications in her system, including a potent sleep aid, 3 antidepressants, antibiotics and a human growth hormone. The Seminole Police Chief said no foul play was involved and the case is closed. My question is why did doctors give her so many prescriptions????? It is very disturbing!

*American Idol will run 7 minutes longer tonight in order to keep viewers from switching over to Dancing With The Stars. Gwen Stefani will appear on tonight's show as mentor to the Top 10 and she will perform The Sweet Escape tomorrow night. Will Sanjaya remain on the show for another week? I can't wait to find out!

*Christina Aguilera and her hubby Jordan have an easy way to spice up their love life--you can try this at home. They leave post-it notes around the house with love messages to each other (Ahhhhhhh!)

*Best friends Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston kiss tonight on Courteney's show Dirt at 10PM on FX. Guys, you may be disappointed--Courteney said it's just a peck and not down and dirty.

*Happy 37th Birthday to Mariah Carey and Happy 32nd to Fergie!

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - MONDAY, MARCH 26

*Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital last night! Brit had a bad toothache and had emergency work done on one of her molars. She was released and is doing okay. Of course Britney didn't have to wait at the E.R.--one of the perks of fame!

*Today is the day when we will find out Anna Nicole Smith's cause of death. Medical Examiner Joshua Perper will hold a press conference to release his findings at 10:30 this morning. Tabloids are reporting that Anna Nicole overdosed on sleeping pills. We'll wait to hear what the doctor says. Meanwhile, Anna Nicole's ex-boyfriend and possible baby daddy, Larry Birkhead trademarked the phrase that Anna Nicole used to make him say to her every night, “goodnight My Sweet Anna Baby!” The rumor is that he trademarked it so that he could use it for things like movies and TV shows. Everyone is trying to make a buck off that woman!

*Dancing With The Stars is on tonight. Will Heather Mill's artificial leg fall off? I doubt it! Heather's soon-to-be ex-hubby, Paul McCartney has a new woman. He has been dating Sabrina Guinness of the Guinness Stout beer empire (that is every man's dream--free beer!)

*There is a new #1 movie. TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) topped the weekend box office.

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - THURS., MARCH 22

*Sanjaya is still on American Idol! On the results show last night, he wasn't even in the bottom two. It came down to Chris and Stephanie and Stephanie was sent home.

*Medical examiner Joshua Perper will hold a press conference early next week to reveal the cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death. Anna's baby daughter, Dannielynn was swabbed for DNA yesterday in the Bahamas and the sample was sent to a lab in Ohio. We won't know the results right away because they are being sealed until a hearing on April 3. (I will be shocked if Larry Birkhead is not the baby's daddy!)

*Regis Philbin is home from the hospital following heart bypass surgery. Reg will spend the next five weeks recovering and he is expected to call in during Friday's Live With Regis & Kelly.

*Katie Holmes is reportedly miserable and sick of Tom Cruise controlling her every move. Katie has been leaning on her best friend Victoria Beckham--one night they were on the phone for four hours!

*Angelina Jolie brought her new son, Pax home yesterday. From an orphanage to a private jet--that's quite an adjustment. Baby Shiloh has been going to work with her daddy, Brad Pitt and she even has a cameo in his next movie.

*Justin Timberlake is selling his 5-bedroom mansion in Los Angeles for a cool $29 million. He bought it for about $8 million 5 years ago (that's some investment!)

*Happy 31st Birthday to Reese Witherspoon! She is an example of looking hotter post-divorce. Hey, she has to show Ryan what he's missing!

*Britney Spears left rehab late yesterday and a report says she already "turned her life around." I hope Britney will be okay, but it seems a little quick to say that she is completely cured of her bad habits. Another report says Britney is broke. She spent $21 million over the past two years and didn't have much money coming in. Work on that new album girl!

*Angelina Jolie is on her way home from Vietnam with her newly adopted 3 year-old son Pax

*Adam Sandler filled in for David Letterman on The Late Show last night because Dave had a stomach virus. Feel better soon!

*It was a good day for Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead yesterday. A judge in the Bahamas ordered a DNA test for baby Dannielynn and the test could happen today. We may finally know the baby's daddy very soon!

*Halle Berry said she will never get married again! It didn't work out well the first two times for Halle and she said at this point in her life she doesn't need a ring or a piece of paper.

*TV Reminder: Survivor is on tonight instead of Thursday because of March Madness

*American Idol judge Simon Cowell said last night on 60 Minutes that he got an unusual offer. A couple offered Simon $100,000 to review their technique in the bedroom. Simon turned them down! Can you imagine his comments? That was dreadful--I've never seen anything like that!

*Angelina Jolie is still in Vietnam finalizing the adoption of her new 3 year-old son Pax. Angelina said she's going to be a stay-at-home mom until her 4 kids get older. That's okay--Brad can bring home the bacon!

*Tonight is the season premiere of Dancing With The Stars 8:00 on ABC. Everyone wants to find out if Heather Mill's leg will fly off during a routine (talk about a ratings winner!)

*The the judge in the paternity dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's baby has made it clear -- DNA testing is about to happen. Another hearing in the Bahamas is scheduled for tomorrow. Meanwhile, Anna's ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead and his high-profile attorney, Debra Opri parted ways late last week.

*Good news, guys: Uma Thurman is single again. She and her on-and-off boyfriend of three years split up for good (so they say.....)

*At the weekend box office, the epic 300 was the #1 movie again, taking in another $31 million. Wild Hogs was #2, followed by Sandra Bullock in Premonition, Dead Silence and Chris Rock's new comedy I Think I Love My Wife rounded out the top 5.

*The Regis update: Regis Philbin is recovering from heart bypass surgery and he's doing great! Reg had the surgery Wednesday and he's already joking around with the nurses and harassing people. I'm glad to hear he's doing well! By the way, Regis is requesting that donations be made to the American Heart Association instead of sending gifts. You can go to americanheartassociation.org.

*Britney Spears is addicted to Coke (Coca-Cola.) Britney has reportedly been drinking up to a case of Coke every day while in rehab. Girlfriend must be bouncing off the walls with all of that caffeine!

*Angelina Jolie adopted a 3 year-old boy from Vietnam and she changed his name. His new name is Pax Thien Jolie. Do you think a 3 year-old will adjust easily to a new name?

*The Anna Nicole Smith saga continues today in a Bahamian courtroom. Mommy is back! Anna Nicole's mother, Virgie Arthur will be in court today to request guardianship of baby Dannielynn. Anna's ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead will request the same thing.

*Jennifer Lopez is excited about her appearance on American Idol in April. She'll perform one of her Spanish-language songs. Jennifer has a couple of favorite contestants that she's rooting for but she won't mention names (as long as it's not Sanjaya!)

*There was a report that comedian-actor Sinbad died of a heart attack Wednesday. It's not true (thank goodness!) Sinbad is alive and well!

*Angelina Jolie is a proud new mom once again, now that her adoption of a 3-year-old Vietnamese boy is official. The boy's name is Pax Thien Jolie and he's 3 years old. Angelina took custody of Pax today in Vietnam and will remain in the country for about a week while the child's American passport is processed. Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson said she wants to adopt a child in the near future.

*New evidence in the Anna Nicole Smith mystery that triggered a police investigation centers around a computer. Cops in the Seminole P.D. have been working with Bahamian police in evaluating evidence on a computer that was inside the hotel room where Anna Nicole died. The computer is the reason the release of the autopsy report was delayed. Meanwhile, a guy is saying that he's the daddy of Anna Nicole's love child--a boy born 6 years ago. He claims that Anna Nicole hid her pregnancy by getting fat. Oh, puhleeze! Everyone is trying to cash in!

*Brandon Rogers was eliminated from the Top 12 last night on American Idol. He was expecting it because he forgot the words to his song Tuesday night! I just can't believe that Sanjaya is still in the competition!

*The nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards were announced yesterday. The soap opera Guiding Light led the nominees with 17 and The Ellen DeGeneres Show got 12 nominations. The awards are coming up on June 15.

*Congratulations to Salma Hayek - she's engaged and pregnant with her first baby at the age of 40.

*Could there be trouble in paradise between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony? Some sources are saying that despite their lovey-dovey ways in public, their marriage is on the rocks. (Hey, at least this one lasted longer for J.Lo than the other marriages....)

*Rosie O'Donnell is sticking around at The View for at least another year. She may bolt after next year to start her own show.

*Who is Hollywood's hottest blonde? According to a new poll, it's Christina Aguilera, followed by Reese Witherspoon and Kate Hudson

*Sad news from Hollywood: Comedian Richard Jeni apparently killed himself. Richard died of a gunshot wound to the head Saturday at the age of 45.

*We have to wait at least another week to find out what killed Anna Nicole Smith. Medical Examiner Joshua Perper said he determined Anna Nicole's cause of death but will not release his report until Florida police have concluded their investigation. Perper said there are surprises in his report!

*New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reportedly got another woman pregnant! Tom's ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan is pregnant and now there's a report that his current girlfriend, Giselle Bundchen has a bun in the oven!

*Johnny Depp's 7 year-old daughter Lily Rose is doing much better after being hospitalized for more than a week in London. Lily Rose was in serious condition after getting blood poisoning by stepping on a rusty nail.

*It was the American Idol results show last night and 4 contestants were sent home: Jared, Sundance, Sabrina and Antonella. It was time for Antonella to go--I didn't want to hear another song from her! The judges were shocked that Sundance was voted off. I was surprised too because he was one of the few good male singers.

*Elizabeth Hurley got married a week ago and she's still partying! Wedding celebrations have been going on all week for Liz and her new hubby Arun.

*Rose O'Donnell says she hangs upside down for up to a half-hour a day as a method to fight depression. It's called "inversion therapy." Hey, whatever works....

*Baby Suri Cruise may be getting a little brother soon. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were spotted shopping at a baby boutique for items for a boy's nursery.

*Star Jones Reynolds has a new TV job. She'll host her own show on Court TV about criminal justice intersecting with pop culture. By the way, Star said she doesn't watch The View but she wishes the ladies the best (yeah, right!!)

*Britney Spears is not doing well in rehab. Reports say she's unhappy and wants out! I hear that she's been getting into a lot of trouble, including being reprimanded for making cell phone calls and leaving the facility to shop. Hang in there Brit!

*Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are adopting a child from Vietnam. The family's new addition is a boy between the ages of 3 and 5 and he should be joining the household in the next few months.

*American Idol will not provide clips to The View after Rosie O'Donnell's rant about Idol being racist and weightist. Rosie's boss, Barbara Walters doesn't seem too happy about it!

*Things are getting catty backstage at American Idol and it's not between Simon and Seacrest. I hear that some of the conservative female contestants are not happy about Antonella Barba's racy internet photos. They think she should have been booted from the show. Well, if she continues to sing as bad as she has the past two weeks they may get their wish! The guys performed last night and Simon said they lacked the "wow factor." I agree completely!

*Oscar winning director Martin Scorcese is teaming up with Mark Wahlberg to develop an HBO show about Atlantic City. It'll be based on a history of the city by Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Nelson Johnson.

*Hugh Grant had to look younger for his role as an 80's pop star in the movie Music & Lyrics so he found an alternative to a facelift. Hugh wore an elastic band around his face that's invisible but pulls back your skin. He said he didn't want to give it up when filming ended.

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - MONDAY, MARCH 5

*John Travolta has the new #1 movie. Wild Hogs topped the weekend box office, taking in $38 million. Zodiac was second, followed by Ghost Rider.

*The Geico cavemen are getting their own show. ABC is developing a sitcom based on the cavemen characters from the popular insurance ads. The show would revolve around three pre-historic men who must battle prejudice as they live their day-to-day lives in modern Atlanta. Those cavemen drive me crazy but I would check out the show because I'm curious!

*Anna Nicole Smith was finally laid to rest in the Bahamas Friday next to her son Daniel. Anna's mother fought the burial up to the last minute and was late to the memorial service. Even in death, Anna Nicole knows how to draw a crowd. Her grave has already become the top tourist spot in the Bahamas.

*Nicole Richie was briefly hospitalized for dehydration Friday after falling ill while filming The Simple Life. She was given IV fluids (a snack) and released.

*Angelina Jolie is adopting another baby. She filed papers to adopt a child in Vietnam.

*Elizabeth Hurley and businessman Arun Nayar got married in a castle in England over the weekend. Like many modern brides, Liz did not promise to "obey" her hubby in her vows.
